Ombre yarns are a wonderful way to create a colour change in your project that gently shifts without the need for sewing in ends! Made in a choice of bases, these yarns are luxurious and make distinctive projects that will catch the eye.

Yarns are hand dyed and there are either 3 or 5 colour changes. Each colour aims to be an equal ratio within the skein, however this can vary, due to the hand made nature of it.

Yarns generally do not cycle back to their origin colour. Please consider this when planning your project.

Meterage:

100g Superwash Blue Faced Leicester DK: 225m

100g Superwash Merino DK: 200m

100g Superwash Merino/Nylon 4ply Sock: 400m APPROX

50g Superwash Merino/Nylon 4ply Sock: 200m APPROX

Ombre yarns come in cakes – ready to knit or crochet, no need to unskein. Images here show yarns knitted into blanks as part of the dyeing process.
