HOW WE HOLD AND TREAT YOUR DATA

Madrigal Yarns holds and processes personal data to enable it to operate successfully as an online business and serve its customers. The following data is processed and held for this purpose.

EMAIL ADDRESSES:

If we hold your email address, this is because you are either a customer having placed an order with the online store, or have provided your email address to receive our newsletter on the mailing list.

There is an unsubscribe button on every email that we send to you, and you are also able to have any email address that is held removed from the database at any time by emailing us on info@madrigalyarns.com

This information is never passed to any third party and is used by Madrigal Yarns exclusively.

PERSONAL INFORMATION:

Physical addresses are stored on the e-commerce website www.madrigalyarns.com for shipping and these are for our use and this purpose only. We may include your name, business name, invoice and shipping address and VAT number on our accounting system for invoicing and HMRC tax purposes.

In addition to the online database generated by the e-commerce store, Madrigal Yarns maintains a limited database of information of our customers for marketing and sales purposes only. This is a simple spreadsheet and is secure on a single machine only. We use this to track individual order history, maintain stock quality and stocktake. This information is never passed on or sold to anyone.

PHONE NUMBERS:

If you have contacted us by phone we may save your telephone number as a contact if you require us to call you back. This number will be stored in the call history of the telephone you have dialled, but will not be entered into any database or telephone directory.

SOCIAL MEDIA:

You may follow us on Facebook and Instagram. We do not store customer lists for these platforms or use any information outside of each individual platform. If we would like to share any posts customers have made we will always ask for permission first.
