This is a luxurious semi circular shawl made with three distinct 100g colours in bold stripes using 4ply/sock yarn. It has a couple of easy techniques that create a fun and interesting knit, with three main elements. The shawl grows quite quickly, make sure you have a long needle! This uses easy techniques, however the “peanut stitch” is particularly fun, we recommend that you test this on a bit of scrap yarn first. There is no need to tension this shawl.
Inspired by the scorching summers of the south of France, and the traditional shawls worn by Arlesian Women of Provence, or “Les Arlesiennes”.
