These colours are all hand dyed so slight variations in the intensity of the colour will occur, this gives it its texture and character. Every effort has been made to represent the colours on the screen as close to real as possible using lightbox photography that provides the best colour representation available.

So, Indulge my imagination, but I always thought the cool waters around the Mary Celeste’s resting place would be clear and vivid blue. Maybe I have watched too many cartoons as a child. Like speculation of the fate of Anastasia Romanov, the Mary Celeste is an enigma.

Specification:

Yarn base is Mulesing Free certified super soft Australian Merino, ethically farmed and cruelty free. Small batch hand dyes may have some variety so if possible, we recommend working with two skeins at once, alternating yarn every row or two rows if you want to avoid colour pooling, particularly when shaping your garment. Always order enough yarn for your project from the same dyelot. If you need more than is available above, please get in touch and we can dye a unique batch for you of any quantity at no extra charge.
